These Terms and Conditions govern property maintenance and repairs  with Jaki Properties. By using our maintenance services you agree to comply with these terms.

Service Terms

Job/Service Confirmation

Job/services are only confirmed once:

  • Availability has been confirmed
  • Required payment or deposit has been received
  • Written confirmation has been issued by Jaki Properties

Jaki Properties reserves the right to decline any work at its discretion.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment or agreed deposit must be received prior to any work commence, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the work.

Quote Terms

Quotes Can Be Sent Once

  • Description of the job has been provided via email or phone
  • If it's supply and fit or labour only
  • Types of materials to be used
  • Availability from client and Jaki Properties are agreed

Payment Terms

  • If we supply the materials an upfront payment will be requested, with the remaining payment at the completion of the job
  • Payment can be done by BACS or cash with payment details on the invoice

Clients Responsibilities

Property Care

  • Keeping the property clean and tidy prior to work commencing
  • Reporting any maintenance issues promptly and photographic evidence with date and time stamp

Behaviour and Conduct

Clients must behave responsibly and respect  towards Jaki Properties' employees.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Physical aggression
  • Swearing 
  • Illegal activities
  • Any threatening behaviour

Jaki Properties reserves the right to terminate any job if these conditions are breached.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Give a detailed description of the work required
  • Be specific about materials requests if desired
  • Confirm starting availability
  • Provide a suitable working environment

Cancellations and Refunds

Client Cancellations

If the client chooses to cancel the work after the materials have been ordered by Jaki Properties and the materials have already been delivered then any deposit or upfront payments may be non-refundable depending on the notice given.

Cancellation by Jaki Properties

Jaki Properties reserves the right to cancel the service due to:

  • Safety concerns
  • Payment failure
  • Unforeseen circumstances outside our control

Where possible, alternative  options or refunds may be offered.

Damages 

Damage Responsibility

Clients are responsible for any damage caused to materials stored in their properties. Costs for replacement will be charged if needed.

Liability

Personal Property

Jaki Properties is not responsible for any loss, or damage that wasn't done by us. 

Injury or Accidents

Jaki Properties is not liable for injury, accidents, or loss unless caused by proven negligence.

Parking

Suitable parking or access is expected in order to carry out the best service possible. Incase no parking is available near the property then additional charges may apply.

Pets

If the client has a pet, then it's his/hers responsibility to properly secure and look after their pet whilst the maintenance or repair service is taking place. 

Force Majeure

Jaki Properties shall not be held liable for failure to provide accommodation due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Utility failures
  • Emergencies

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Jaki Properties reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
